I was doing my science fair write-up, and I had typed in the words extra synonym. When I clicked on the thesaurus link, I saw an ad. This is what it said: "Looking for EXTRA? Find exactly what you want today. Yahoo.com"
Just thought this was funny, because I have no idea what an extra is. Have any ideas?

This was a sign inside the bus that took us from our hotel, which was right behind the backlot of ToonTown, to Disneyland. It's sad that the people in Cali. don't get to see real snow! This was an ad for Universal Studios.

Merry Christmas!
I'm going to DISNEYLAND! I also got a... NEW PHONE!

So on the 27th, yes, on Saturday, we're going to Disneyland! We'll spend two days then we will fly to Long Beach and board a Carnival ship, Paradise, to MEXICO!! We'll be back here on the 2nd, just in time for.. school.

My phone is a Blitz, and it is so cool!

I decided to do a little experimenting with my mom's camera, and it was awesome! I did it my bedroom with a blanket all by myself, with the help of mirrors. I tried to use one of my cats in as many of the shots as I could, but that didn't turn out very well.. I think I should do this more often, it was so FUN! Anyway, these are my favs!

This book is based in a small, hometown town in the middle of Texas. Two boys are looking for some adventure during the summer, and they get it when a large, fat boy shows up in their town as a freak act. All he does is munch on potato chips and watch TV.

While the two boys are trying to get him out of his trailer, his only home, the are faced with many different obsticals. When they finally get him out, something magical happens. A heartwarming and full-of-surprises book. RECOMENDED TO ANYONE ANYWHERE!

A Flock Of Moosen

So, me, Alethea, and Hailee were playing a Pictionary-type game on whiteboards, and somehow Hailee got mad and wrote down the word moosen, And I'm like, "Ha ha, what is that?" And she said, "The plural of moose. Moosen." Then she wrote down "A flock of moosen." And when Peter went by us I said, "A flock of moosen, Peter!" He got the idea and came back and said, "I think the plural of moose is meese, not moosen." I just stared at him, because he REALLY DID mean it. I laughed SO HARD about that, and about the words "a flock of moosen..." say it out loud a few times. You'll crack up too!

Well I liked Bob Crowley, the winner of Survivor: Gabon enough, but I found out that he was the most liked in the game, too. So, not only did he win the 1,000,000 dollar prize, he also got a bonus of 1,000, as voted on by the public. Sadness; I wanted Sugar to win! Better luck next time.

To Wear, or Not To Wear?

So, my Mother has a perfectly nice sweater. It has a v-neck, striped green, with holly on it. Creme colored..
I was sitting on this very computer when my mom yells, "That's what I'm wearing!" I knew she was watching What Not To Wear on TLC, I had to see it.
Yep. Stacey hates this very same sweater that a woman on the show is wearing, only this one has snowman on it... and now..
"Dave, she's wearing everything I own, holiday sweaters, pumpkin shirts....."

Pen Ten!

So excited! Pendragon Ten: Soldiers of Halla!

Yes, the best worst kept secret is correct. The title of Pen Ten is "The Soldiers of Halla".

There's an interesting (to me) story behind the title. I came up with the title from what I wrote at the very end of "Raven Rise". I wrote the line: "We were the Soldiers of Halla" and it immediately hit me as the perfect title for Pen-Ten. Of course I didn't commit to it right away.

One was because I didn't have to. But also because I didn't want to run into another "Pendragon the Great" snafu. Also, I hadn't even written Pen-Ten yet, so I wanted to leave my options open in case something else better popped up.

Keeping it in Raven Rise was kind of a fun little look ahead that I figured only I would know about until the book came out. But then, I made a mistake. Back in February at a book event in Connecticut...in a weak moment... I told the group that the potential title for Pen-Ten could be found in Raven Rise.

Well, somebody who was in that crowd found it. (It wasn't hard, seeing as it was on the very last page in a very dramatic place. Duh...on me) and posted what I said on the website. From there, all you guys on the website picked up on it...and it became the best worst kept secret ever.

I really wish I hadn't mentioned it that one time last year and put it on everybody's radar. It would have been fun to see if anybody would have picked up on it, without knowing what I had said.

At any rate, after writing the book I still held the opinion that after all was complete, after all was played out, and knowing exactly what would happen in the book, the best and perfect title was: "The Soldiers of Halla".

And so it is.

All in all it was an ok book. The last couple chapters were the best, though. They kept you on your toes!

The futuristic part of the part of it could be better, but everone has their own opinions. 4 stars..

The whole different story...

Well, a lot of people know about the "Haunted House," my neighbor's abandoned home.
So, when Hailee, Jordyn, Alethea, and I were done with our skit stuff, we decided to go the the Haunted House. Hailee was flippin' scared, and didn't want to go in. But, she did anyway, forced by her lovely friends. Jo had been in there before, and so had I, but Lee hadn't and she wanted to go in anyway.
So, we went. Nothing much had changed since we last went in. Alethea was so fascinated by the house, that she didn't want to leave. Jordyn stayed with her, and Hailee and I went back to the house. While we where sitting in my living room, watching a show, (Wizards of Waverly Place) they came running in.
"You guys! You're not going to believe this!" Jo yelled, with Alethea following her. It turns out, Jordyn and Alethea had gone in the basement, and Alethea had heard a noise from upstairs. So, they went to check it out. When they got to the third level of the house, they were welcomed by a surprise.
Next to the laundry room, was an unhinged door. It had been moved from a closet. On the door, were the words: LEAVE NOW.
So, when Jo and Lee came in the house, we didn't believe them and we told them to take a camera and take pictures. When they came back, the photos weren't great. But, you could still see letters on a door. So, I STILL didn't believe them. They told me to come and see it instead. So I did. And when we got to the third level, there it was: A door that was originally by a closet on the same floor had been moved in front of the laundry room door. On the door were the words: LEAVE NOW. I started crying. I really did. Luckily, by dad was there. So, I ran out of the house, as fast as I could. When we got back, we looked for paranormal investigations on the Internet, to see if a team could come out and do a reading. As we were looking at the computer, Jo says quietly, "It was me." And so, we hate her now. No apology can cover for her.
Now, do you want to read the other side of the story??
Alethea and Jordyn had did this. The whole thing was made up, and it was mostly Alethea's idea.

We moved on! Soooo excited. We've changed our skit a little bit, but mostly at our CP meeting we just goofed off. But THAT is a whole different story....

But, don't hurt us too bad. We have.. let me count.. 6 out of 8 new people on our team.

Today we played Rebecka Olivares' team. Everybody did well. It's just that her team is whole lot organized than ours.
So, kudos to Becka's team..... but, BE WARNED! We're playing you at our last game!

Student Council-BYU Trip!

The trip went well... Mrs. Marks and Mr. Sagers went with us, but they had to leave at 2:00 for PTC's. We went to the convention area on the campus, and it's an enormous building! Very nice, too.
What we had to do was go to each different rooms for a couple different rotations. (A speaker/performer talked about being better at SC.) It was snowing, and we had to go outside for almost 2 minutes to grab our lunch, but it nearly froze my ears off! When Mrs. Marks and Mr. Sagers left, Mrs. Egan came for about an hour and then she came with us on the bus back to Westland. Besides lunch, we also had doughnuts and chocolate milk!
